Week 5: Day 29


Coffee & Irish Cream
 Irish Cream
Homemade Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 1/4 cups organic sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
In a large sauce pan whisk sugar and cocoa powder until most lumps are gone.  Add water and salt and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.  After sauce is thick, remove from heat and let cool 5 min.  Add vanilla extract and stir.

Homemade Irish Cream
  • 1 1/3 cup of Irish Whiskey (I used Jameson)
  • 14oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 or 3 tbs of homemade chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
Mix everything in a blender until well mixed.  Store in a glass container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
